This apartment was in a great location with amazing views. Unfortunately the owner/s have not updated furnishings, curtains (there were none in the loungeroom) and those in the bedrooms were very dated. So was the lounge. Located within a walk of everything you can't go wrong. If you can view your room first it would be a good idea. Staff were friendly and helpful, but it was busy with no other availability.
This hotel didn’t meet my expectations especially since it was quite expensive. Service is terrible, the rooms are not clean, there was broken furniture, there was no air-con and the photos on their website are nothing like the actual rooms. The only thing good about this hotel is the location. I would not recommend this hotel.
Room very outdated and air condition on timer so can’t use at night etc ! Have to keep turning on in order to use! Staff has no experience in customer service and don’t make you feel welcome in anyway ! For price you pay is a bit of a joke! Also a 300$ bond for a room that has marks all over the place and not clean and furniture from 1970! So stay away and look at other places !
Over the past few years we have stayed here a number of times. The location and views are fantastic and the apartments are a good size and usually attractive and well maintained. We were disappointed this time with the presentation (broken air con in the lounge, curtains falling off the rails in one bedroom and one battery in the air con remote for one bedroom). Also this apartment had ghastly tinting on the windows which ruined the night views completely! We found the receptionists to be unfriendly and unapproachable they seem to forget their wages are paid by people like us who pay a lot to stay here! Our love affair with Aquarius has come to an end, we will be looking for another suitable holiday spot close by.
My friends, my husband and I were well looked after by the Aquarius staff. We were so lucky to get one of the beautiful sky homes on the weekend of the v8 racing. The views of the beach were unparalleled and the location absolutely amazing. Same with the amenities such as huge spas, indoor heated pool and sauna. Step outside and you are on the beach. Great walking path straight to surfers and the race for the guys. We have stayed here before and have been very happy and impressed each time but this particular stay was above and beyond. We will be back!! Thank you :)
Great apartment hotel. Unbeatable views on Q1, the city, the beach and the ocean (we got lucky to get a 270 degrees view on one of the top floors. Two-bedroom apartment with beds to fit a 5-person family. Two restrooms. Very spacious lounge room with a TV and DVD player and a selection of classic movies. Two heated pools (outdoor and indoor), an outdoor waddle pool for the little kids, two indoor jacuzzis (very warm) and a sauna. Short walking distance to the beach (right behind the building), to the tram, and a little bit further, but still close to Surfers Paradise and the Main Beach, with all they have to offer. A few food joints nearby (pizza, burgers and an Irish pub), open late.
Beautiful apartment, I stayed at unit 25A. Amazing views, clean, spacious with nice kitchen.
Most importantly, I would like to thank Bec at the reception. She is a beautiful person, professional, accurate, friendly and so easy to talk to. Bec is the best I have ever experienced in the GC. This year is my 10th year holidaying at the GC. Not so many could care about the clients and the owners of the apartment. Good Job Bec, keep it up. I will be back again next year because of you.
